Green and red interiors for the Oui J'aime Hotel, an echo of Chinese tradition

In the Thai city of Chachoengsao, the Walllasia studio designed the Oui J'aime Hotel, a rectangular building with a metal structure and an artistic façade made of rusty metal sheets

A unique building: for the Oui J'aime Hotel, Walllasia cleverly carves out spaces from an unusually large parcel of land. The bold, long, narrow structure is made entirely of metal, with rusty metal sheets on the façade softening the building's overall appearance, and evoking the form of an art exhibition

The artistic façade provides privacy for the guests and screens the light during the day. Walllasia seeks to address the design issues while at the same time trying to maximise the space. Inside the building, a water area provides a corner for relaxation

The interiors are managed in such a way as to make the spaces seem much larger, and are defined by the colours green and red, a clear reference to the Chinese tradition
