estudi{H}ac used this unique story as the basis for organizing the layout of the restaurant into different zones with various paths, feelings and colors, combining areas with custom tables and benches appropriately adapted to the various parts of the legend to create a Fantasy and Dreamlike atmosphere
Ladon Restaurant in Tenerife. References to Greek mythology and dreamlike atmospheres
The interior design of the Ladon Restaurant is inspired by the volcanic nature of Tenerife and the figure of the dragon LADON which, according to Greek mythology is the guardian of the garden, along with the Hesperides. guarding the restaurant with its 100 heads
The colors underlying the color selection of the project are dominated by the color ash and patches of earth color, green and red. The walls and floors of lava stone, copper structures and black ceramic stairs blend with the large image of a dragon skin and contribute to creating a subdued atmosphere in the lobby
The fire is symbolized by an imposing barbecue that opens on the central axis of the room. The heart of the dragon is fiery red and surrounded by a composition of lights symbolizing the tail
The folklore of the island and its distinctive vegetation are represented by the morphology of the Dragon, transformed into a large structure of wooden slats that mimic the characteristic shape of the tree to create a totally new area furnished inside the tables
The terrace features all the most traditional architecture and craftsmanship of the island and offers a new interpretation through a system of shutters that surround the space of the terrace, whose floor takes the shape of a large beach of black sand made even more impressive by graphic elements designed
