The material and the colour of a mini-apartment in Milan - RenovationOnWeb

A modern office, linear and neutral, is transformed into a home and becomes welcoming through an interplay of colours, finishes and decorations. The narrow corridor which defines the structure of the space becomes the engine of the design project, transforming a limitation into an opportunity

A flat in Milan enhances the available areas and multiplies the spaces through optical illusions based on a precise study of colours, wallpaper and mirrors. Chroma Studio's intervention aims to enhance linear spaces, which are suitable for a chromatic and decorative game, while exploiting existing spaces

The space is lit by large ribbon windows that flood the place with natural light. The client, an independent young woman, wanted a place that was both practical and welcoming. After an in-depth study of her habits, tastes and favourite colours, the architects opted for a harmonious colour palette ranging from green to chestnut

Thanks to the use of these colours, the rooms immediately seem larger, more welcoming and comfortable. The green of the living room expresses rebirth and regeneration, confidence and security. The addition of white helps to lighten the environment, giving balance and serenity. The heart of the home, the kitchen, is enclosed in a chromatic "cube" that conveys the idea of openness and sociability: a dynamic and multifunctional environment characterised by dark brown wood, a colour that increases energy and stimulates the appetite

Wall & decò's "Elisir" wallpaper, used right from the entrance to the kitchen, is the common theme linking the inherently different rooms in the home and directs the eye in exploring the flat, softening the rigid lines of the narrow entrance hallway. The wallpaper decoration reproduces the design of a curtain, perfect for an irregular environment and a discontinuous wall such as this corridor
