The Matilde apartment in Reggio Emilia, right in the city center, is an exclusive space, transformed by the ovre.design® studio into an exemplary format of their mastery in conceiving and designing interior spaces. An apartment that spans a surface of 65 square meters, which have become for the studio a sort of manifesto of design culture and aesthetic taste, an expression of the concept of hyperdecorativeness.
Every square centimeter of the Matilde apartment is carefully thought out and is original in every detail. One of the interior design projects by ovre.design® is precisely this apartment, which involved a radical operation of demolishing a load-bearing wall to create an open space living area that includes the kitchen, living room, and lounge, thus making it possible to emphasize the cozy space.
The master bedroom of the apartment has been designed with a concept inspired by hotel design and is characterized by the headboard of the large bed in velvet specially created for this space, wired and equipped with a USB outlet. Completing the sleeping area is a smaller bedroom: ten square meters enhanced by decorative solutions.
The bathroom is a truly curated space with the selection of the most exclusive and high-quality products, starting from the Gessi Faucets to the tiles made in third fire with a particular visible pore effect: even though the dimensions are compact, the effect is significant and prestigious. A special mention goes to the shower area, spacious and creatively positioned.
The use of color in the Matilde apartment plays a fundamental role in giving strength and liveliness to the walls, embellished by the impactful wallpaper, while the passion for vintage of the two creators has incredibly managed to furnish this space with lived-in and elegant furnishings and objects, full of charm and capable of adding to the depth of the environment that of time.
