Doors, windows and screens
When designing a building, doors, windows and screens are key elements. In fact, in addition to giving great architectural beauty to the entire structure, choosing the right ones can make the difference because they provide an important contribution to the functionality of the building itself both in terms of energy efficiency and comfort inside the building.
Doors take care of dividing the internal spaces of the building. Their design should be chosen so as to consider all the main factors related to living comfort, such as the possibility of limiting noise between one space and another or energy efficiency.
Windows are another fundamental element in building design: they not only guarantee natural light inside the house but also good ventilation. The choice of windows should take into consideration the dimensions of the space in which they will be inserted to ensure correct lighting; it is possible to opt for specialized models equipped with insulating glass which further improve the acoustic and thermal insulation of the structure.
Screens are furnishing elements that mainly aim to protect interiors from direct sunlight: they can consist of awnings or verandas, or of climbing vines on balconies or terraces that limit direct solar radiation. The options available are numerous and therefore allow the designer to customize the aesthetic result of the building as much as possible together with the effectiveness of the shields themselves.
These elements are fundamental in the design of buildings and must be carefully studied to ensure both maximum functionality and the best possible aesthetic result.
