Self-cleaning filters for water treatment: continuous filtration without cartridge replacement
Self-cleaning filters represent an efficient solution for water treatment, designed to reduce turbidity by removing solid impurities without requiring cartridge replacement. Thanks to the integrated backwashing system, they ensure continuous operation, reduced maintenance costs, and consistent performance over time.
Available in semi-automatic and automatic versions, the filters adapt to both small flow rate systems and industrial applications with high flow rates. The filter element consists of a mesh made of stainless steel AISI 316, corrosion-resistant, with filtration grades available from 60 to 100 μ. Inside the cartridge, there is an impeller that, through periodic backwashing, removes the trapped particles, maintaining the system's efficiency.
For higher flow rate systems, models with flanged connections DN 65 and DN 80 are available. In semi-automatic filters, the cleaning cycle is manually activated by rotating a knob, while in automatic models, backwashing is programmable with intervals from 1 to 999 hours, ensuring low water consumption and fully automated management.
