The wooden house is located in the region of Los Ríos, in northern Chile. The study of the project starts from the analysis of the place, its climatic conditions and the need for insulation. The orientation is arranged in such a way that the presence of nature is not forgotten

The views take priority in the layout of the house and its main areas, open to the south in the search for the Andes and the lake. Two skylights facing north allow sunlight to enter the circulation areas

Some indoor gardens provide ventilation and the necessary light. The interior is protected from the frequent conditions of extreme rain by a painted metal panel, which acts as an aesthetically pleasing unifier between the roof and exterior walls

The structure of the house is made of wood, as is the interior lining. The wood used in the interior, with its very light shade, contrasts with the darker shades of the exterior of the house and in general with the less bright exterior landscape
