The wooden heart of the private residence called "House Buiksloterham", located in the industrial area of Amsterdam North, is the starting point for NEXT architects' project, which gives light to the warm, intimate interior
The use of brick and red terracotta contributes to the creation of a cosy interior which contrasts with the exterior cladding of corrugated, perforated black sheet metal, giving the home a permeable character and creating a special play of light in the form of a lantern
