In one of the world's largest refugee camps, in Kutupalong, Bangladesh, Rizvi Hassan designs the Hindupara Integrated Community Center, a sharing platform that aims to improve communication between refugees and the host community
Members of the Hindupara community and members of the adjacent host community aim to come forward together to create the center from which they can benefit in terms of psychosocial support, training, case management, and knowledge sharing. They created models and painted their center, involving artisans and site users in the creative process during the construction, while having everyone give their support
The local resources in the project have been fully exploited: bamboo, tarpaulins, straw, supported by a steel skeleton, have contributed to create a field with natural characteristics and extremely flexible, an ideal strategy to be used in a humanitarian context
