The building consists of 100 rooms, each with breathtaking views. The structure is primarily made of concrete, but the extremely humble design blends perfectly with the scenery. A large man-made pond in front of the residence enhances the grandeur of the building, as well as being a reservoir for the clean water that comes down from the hills

The interior is designed to be airy and well-ventilated, with different sized balconies which are inspired by the rhythms of the sermons and the breathing of the meditating participants

The symmetrical open-air corridor is paved with bricks in a pattern borrowed from a venerable temple, in homage to ancient Thai architecture. From a distance, the building is like a white box set into the mountain, designed so that the rocks remain in their original place surrounded by the pond in the center of the structure, to keep the internal temperature mild and enhance the stoic presence of the rocks
