EPOXY 21 is the two-component epoxy resin by Bossong with high adhesion value, suitable for heavy-duty fixings on concrete, solid masonry, and wood.
Based on the data and characteristics from the European Technical Assessments (ETA), the company offers one of the best chemical anchors on the European market with dual certification. Approvals are valid for a wide range of threaded rods (from M8 to M30) and for rods with improved adhesion (diameter from 8 mm to 32mm). The product can be used with wet concrete or in flooded holes without doubling the load times. The product is approved for fixings with variable anchoring depth, providing high flexibility to the designer. Certified operating temperatures are within the ranges of -40°C/+40°C (max long-term T° = 24°C) and -40°C/+80°C (max long-term T° = 50°C). EPOXY21 resin is suitable for electrically insulated fixings and allows for high dielectric power anchorages, canceling out the effects of stray currents, as well as being resistant to hydrolysis over time. It is easy and quick to use, with a thixotropic consistency. The resin, due to its high adhesion value and ease of penetration into porosities and voids, allows for a secure fixing without expansion and therefore without tensions in the base material during installation. The resin and hardener only mix during extrusion by passing the product through the appropriate mixer, and does not require pre-mixing. It can also be used as a repair and filling compound.
