Architekti B.K.P.Š. Studio: Origins and Design Philosophy
Founded in Bratislava in 1991, the Architekti B.K.P.Š. studio has developed over the years a versatile design approach, tackling almost all types of buildings: from single-family homes to apartments, from mixed-use buildings to cultural and financial structures. The activity also extends to new constructions, redevelopments, preservation of heritage buildings, interior design, and urban planning. This variety of interventions reflects an ability to adapt to different architectural scales and complexities.
Significant Projects and Studio Size
Throughout its history, the studio has experienced variable growth, moving from 8 to 20 collaborators, always maintaining a strong team spirit and a focus on architectural quality. Among the most notable projects are the Slovak National Theatre, the National Bank of Slovakia, the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Berlin, and the renovation and expansion of the Slovak National Gallery, works that have solidified the studio's role in the national and international architectural scene.
