Attilio Marchetti Rossi, a structural civil engineer, has been working as a freelance professional in the field of static design of wooden structures continuously since 1981. After graduating and being qualified at the University of Bologna, Ing. Marchetti Rossi specializes in "Timber Engineering" at the University of Toronto in Canada. Since then he has been a consultant for the largest companies of prefabricated laminated wood in Italy and Europe. He was a member of the CEN / TC 250 SC5 Commission for the preparation of EUROCODICE 5 and participated in the working group for the CNR-DT 206/2007 instructions, the main regulatory instruments for wooden constructions
