Paolo Stefano Gentile is one of the ‘’30 Young talent’’ selected in 2020 by Elle Decor. He was born in Cernusco sul Naviglio, a green town in the province of Milan. He attended the product design course at Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan, graduating in 2019, the year in which he started collaborating with Matteo Ragni’s studio and developing personal projects. His works are the result of a careful analysis of current issues such as sustainability, the use of materials, the new way of living in the 21st century. His projects have been published in the main magazines and exhibited in events such as EDIT Napoli, Milan Design Week, Dutch Design Week, Maison & Objet and others.

Pole: coat rack or storage space?

Both. The Pole system uses the height of the spaces and the fastening system between floor and ceiling to create a useful piece of furniture that is both a coat rack and a storage space

Recycled rubber skateboard. The second life-cycle of tyres through the shredding process

The young designer Paolo Stefano Gentile designs and produces Fragment, a collection of skateboards made of rubber from End-of-Life Tyres (ELT). Through the shredding processes, the rubber of the tyre is transformed into granules capable of maintaining all the technical properties of the tyre.
