Koszyki Market, stylized and contemporary space

The Polish studio Medusa Group is entrusted with the interior design project of the covered market "Hala Koszyki" and the offices above, reinterpreting the 19th-century architectural style in a slightly different way.

Architectural reinterpretation of the covered market.

The Market Kosyki in Poland has been reinterpreted in a modern key by the interior design projects studio Medusa Group, replacing simple and rough materials like concrete with elements from the past.

The structure resembling a wicker basket

Within the structure, the industrial floors, along with prefabricated elements, serve as a backdrop to the painted steel frames. The same approach was chosen for the offices. The spaces are stylized.
The office spaces on the upper floors have been designed to resemble a wicker basket, hence the Polish name "koszyk". The copper-gold color gives a completely contemporary character to the spaces.

Urban, rough materials and visual identity

The rough model of the walls is juxtaposed with elegant materials, such as the aluminum floor of one of the pavilions or the marble for another room. The visual identity is inspired by street art.
