The 1930s house dominates the block in which it stands. It was decided that new openings would be added to improve the symmetry of the gable and restore its character and poetry which had been lost due to thermal insulation

No Architects studio renovates an old historic house with a garden in the center of Prague by designing an apartment on each floor for each family while respecting the historicity of the house and adapting it to the lifestyle of the families

The basement is expanded in order to fit all the common rooms of the house including the laundry room, cellars and technical rooms. The existing garage is demolished to leave three structures for bicycle parking and a shed for gardening tools in its place
