In the city, baroque architectures are rare and Palazzo Carlotti is one of the most imposing in size and position in the center of Verona, facing Porta Borsari between via Diaz and Corso Cavour. Studio ABCPLUS brings back to light its beauty with one of its office projects, studying an intervention that enhances the rich ancient heritage by integrating new spaces lightly dedicated to Acros Broker
The client company wishes to relocate its headquarters to the noble floor of the building. In addition to the restoration of the existing Baroque features, the project included upgrading the systems and technologies. The original layout of the spaces, with the characteristic sequence of interconnected rooms, is maintained and restored where past interventions had interrupted it
The new offices are created with light glass partitions and furniture that can be easily removed, ensuring the reversibility of the intervention for the future of the palace. A fascinating and harmonious mix of ancient stuccoes, frescoes, and baroque architectural forms alongside transparent surfaces and contemporary furnishings create the renewed identity of Palazzo Carlotti
