Following the Covid-19 pandemic, Evolution Design chose to actively embrace the shifts in the working world by renovating its 300-square-meter office located in the heart of Zurich. With its high ceilings and light-flooded spaces, this area, originally a wing of a maternity hospital, has been transformed through interior design into a stimulating environment where creativity can flow freely

The architectural firm Evolution Design has transformed its Zurich office into a stimulating space that encourages collaboration, teamwork, and social interaction. The original structure is enriched with the studio's identity through colors, textures, graphics, and vegetation
Creating a larger and more modern kitchen was one of the key priorities of the renovation. By demolishing a wall, the size of the kitchen was doubled, creating a comfortable space, perfectly equipped to allow the team to cook and eat together. It also provides a cozy area with a relaxed atmosphere for social gatherings
The open space was divided with glass walls into three new areas, allowing for the creation of a spacious sample library that can be viewed and discussed comfortably on the large central table. A new focus room provides four sit-stand desks set within a meditative atmosphere: a wall transformed into a forest through wallpaper, with carpeting and potted plants acting as dividers between workstations, harmonizing imagination and quality work
In the focus room, conversation and phone calls are not permitted. These activities are designated for the standard work area, where teams can work side by side, and the two acoustic booths equipped with large screens for video calls. Lastly, the central corridor has been transformed into the epitome of Evolution Design's philosophy: a lime-green geometric ribbon that reflects the process of evolution, design, and creativity
