Exhibition stand as an architectural experience: Material Expression

Architecture is matter, form, and light: the elements of Material Expression, the exhibition stand by Kalebodur for Cersaie in Bologna 2025, which tell the story of the company and its products

Spaces that communicate: relationship and narration at the center

The architecture studio Paolo Cesaretti creates, through its interior design projects, spaces that communicate and that put in communication the human activities they contain. Even in the case of Material Expression, the relationship and narration are at the center. The booth is a ring whose skin, a permeable membrane made of ceramic slabs that allows a glimpse of the interior, instantly tells the identity of Kalebodur with its latest creation: the 120x280 cm slab

Design tells the company's identity and values

The company's values are also embodied in the architecture of Material Expression: the defined yet open perimeter speaks of "unity in diversity, community through design"; similarly, the suspended element at the center of the booth metaphorically represents the dynamism of the ceramic brand in constant pursuit of innovation in the field of eco-sustainable materials and social responsibility

Porcelain stoneware becomes architecture

Around the central visual focus, the visitor is led from a reception area, to the exhibition area, and finally to the “material library”. In the center of the space, the large porcelain stoneware island provides a meeting and resting place. All the geometries of the stand, including the furniture designed, are a manifestation of the company's product: the porcelain stoneware is no longer just a covering or an imitation of other materials, but becomes architecture and asserts its own identity autonomy
