Vudafieri-Saverino Partners has developed a new concept for the showrooms of Glory Casa, the leading brand in China for selling Italian-made furniture accessories: architectures and interiors to express the elegance and style of the Bel Paese.

Italian Style in China

Italian design meets China in the showrooms of Glory Casa, a leading company in Asia in the sale of high-end furniture and home accessories. The brand has become an ambassador of Made in Italy abroad, helping to convey the elegance and sophistication of European style to the East.

The structures of the new stores enhance the Made in Italy

It is precisely the reference to Italy that is the common thread of the new Flagship Stores designed by Vudafieri-Saverino Partners, the architecture firm specialized in interior design projects based in Milan and Shanghai - which boasts a great experience in the retail sector and was called to give a unique aesthetic register to the new Glory Casa addresses. The goal was to create distinctive and unique spaces, capable of immediately expressing the know-how and aesthetic essence of Made in Italy

Structural elements in marble and arches

Iconic element of the new Flagship Glory Casa becomes the full arch, which characterizes its spaces: from the facades to the interiors. A pure structural element, an archetype chosen as a symbol of Italian architecture, from ancient times to the present day. Entirely clad in gray marble, the arches on the external facade define large porticoes with immediate visual impact, providing recognizability, atmosphere, and creating an ideal space for strolling.

How to stroll along a portico

The goal is to recreate the paths under the typical Italian town porticos, giving people the sensation of venturing into the Beautiful Country and, at the same time, inviting them to approach the shop windows. Large windows that allow glimpses of the collections housed inside alternate with solid marble walls: a solution that meets the need to preserve a certain level of privacy and exclusivity for the store's customers.

The designers' comment

“The Italian style, our country's passion for beauty, high craftsmanship: these are the keywords in our project for Glory Casa. The showroom needed a soul, a space suitable to host some of the most prestigious Italian furniture brands: the idea was to use an Italian architectural code to represent the brand's values,” say architects Tiziano Vudafieri and Claudio Saverino.
