Vudafieri-Saverino Partners has developed a new concept for the showrooms of the brand, a leader in China in selling furniture made in Italy: a combination of architecture and interior design to express the elegance and style of the Bel Paese

Italian design meets China in the showrooms of Glory Casa, leader in Asia in the sale of high-end furniture and furnishing accessories. The brand has become an ambassador of Made in Italy abroad, helping to convey the elegance and sophistication of European style in the East

The reference to Italy is the guiding thread of the new Flagship Stores designed by Vudafieri-Saverino Partners, the architectural firm based in Milan and Shanghai - which has extensive experience in the retail sector and was invited to give a unique aesthetic touch to the new Glory Casa shops. The objective was to create distinctive spaces, capable of immediately expressing the savoir-faire and the aesthetic essence of Made in Italy

The iconic element of the new Glory Casa flagship stores is the round arch, which characterizes the spaces: from the facades to the interiors. A pure structural element, an archetype chosen as a symbol of Italian architecture, from antiquity to the present day.
Entirely covered in gray marble, these arches on the external facade define large porticos with an immediate visual impact, in order to give recognition, a pleasant environment and create an ideal space for walking

The aim is to recreate the paths under the arcades typical of Italian towns, giving people the feeling of the Bel Paese and, at the same time, inviting them to approach the shop windows. Large windows that allow a glimpse of the collections housed inside are combined with full marble walls: a solution that meets the need in order to preserve a certain level of privacy and exclusivity for the store's customers

Italian style, our country's passion for beauty, high craftsmanship: these are the key words in our project for Glory Casa. The showroom needed a soul, a space suitable to host some of the most prestigious Italian furniture brands: the idea was to use an Italian architectural code in order to portray the values of the brand '' tell the architects Tiziano Vudafieri and Claudio Saverino
