The road that runs from Gotemba, Shizuoka, to Mount Fuji, part of an immense forest where a small stream murmurs, welcomes the hotel's reception, which extends into the wide landscape. The client relies on Takashige Yamashita Office to plan accommodations in this area and a reception point

The wooden cottages, used as private hotel rooms, are scattered across the hilly landscape and include a simple pitched roof. The facade of the building near the road stretches down and then rises and curves in the direction of Mt. Fuji: this particular pattern of movement that extends the gabled roof in a curvilinear fashion generates the welcoming gesture of eaves at the entrance that open like drapes pulled to the side
