In the heart of Verona, an apartment is given new life in a reinterpretation of classic contemporary style. The Tape House encapsulates essential geometries warmed by the use of finely crafted woods, in spaces flooded with harmony and natural light

Efficiency, refinement, and comfort in a consistently coherent design

Completed in 2024, Tape House is one of the latest interior design projects by the Verona-based studio ABCPLUS. Efficiency, refinement, and comfort come together to create a residence with an aesthetic that is both light and distinctive. In stark contrast to the bright white walls and ceilings, a thin black line represented by lamps, shutters, and furniture elements connects the rooms of the house, following a consistent design throughout the entire dwelling

Rich and rhythmic juxtaposition of materials

Wood panels with intense tones, crafted in vertical slats, line niches and corners in a rich and rhythmic juxtaposition of materials. The corridor leading to the studio is cut by a blade of light that provides a sense of perspective and direction. Between the two spaces, a precious transparent door in metal and glass by Rimadesio allows the gaze to wander

Herringbone parquet flooring, custom-made furniture, and designer pieces

A delicate-toned herringbone parquet serves as the background for the entire apartment, confirming the continuity of the spaces. Various pieces of furniture are custom-made based on designs from the studio; pieces from the best Italian and global design companies, from Knoll seating to lighting fixtures from FLOS, Tom Dixon, and VIBIA among others, are the crowning touch of this apartment that combines functionality, aesthetics, and warmth
