Mori is an installation designed for the LA Design Fest in Los Angeles and built near the A+D Museum by OWIU Design. The design of Mori explores a modular approach that facilitates lateral and diagonal aggregation, combining functional adaptability with structural and aesthetic integrity

The Mori 森 ideogram comprises 3 ki 木 stacked in a pyramid. Alone, ki means wood, a strong, versatile and important material. When combined, it forms mori 森 , i.e. forest, a vital ecosystem whose strengths depend on the synergy and cooperation between living beings. This concept has governed the OWIU Design's project  of the installation where the wood is stacked in a "pyramid formation" to give life to "a forest"

The more effective the collaboration between these separate habitats, the more sturdier the forest.
In addition, 3 Hito 人 also appear in the mori 森 symbol, visible only when you look closely. 人 Hito means human. Therefore, there is a symbolic meaning in mori that emphasises the importance of cooperation between people in a society in order to create a harmonious ecosystem/forest

Therefore, the meaning of the Mori 森 symbol is perfect for outlining the objectives and hidden meaning of the project... the concept of UNION.  This project cannot be implemented without several people coming together. The module that makes up the installation is like a cell, it is a building block of a myriad of components, when combined with more elements of its kind, it creates functional and unique components and its power is multiplied
