The design of the new Travettore Municipal Stadium roof generates a covered space with a few targeted gestures, inserting itself in balance between the context and the playing field

The new roof of Travettore Municipal Stadium designed by Didonè Comacchio Architects conforms as a single plate, composed of metal beams, joined together to form a "coffered roof" suspended between the sky and the ground. This is supported solely by two concrete baffles orthogonal to each other, oriented to accommodate spectators and direct their view of the field

The volumes of the reinforced concrete basement are clad in stoneware; the roof is composed of steel beams painted in a dark color so as to visually lighten the cantilevered element; the roof covering is made of sandwich panels. To complete the intervention, a new concrete pavement was constructed
