Tucked away in Bangkok's Thonglor district, the small building designed by NITAPROW Architects houses a store for body care products, a small cafe and a place to increase ecological awareness through workshops

The wood-framed glass building is surrounded by wild grasses and ferns, which mellow its rectangular setting. Due to the building's transparency and small size, you can enjoy the lush garden all around the volume

A rattan-clad spiral staircase and curved mezzanine give the interior a hint of intimacy and playfulness, breaking the mold of the rectangular building and conceptually connecting the interior design style with the exterior landscape

The pattern of the ceiling and the composition of the wooden posts in the interior reference the panoramic view of the coconut trees and palm trees of Patom's organic farm, the company producing the body care products for sale in the store

Wood is held in high regard as a renewable and sustainable material, so all structural posts and beams are made of redwood and tabak wood recovered from the owner's old house. A project with an organic and modern approach that balances the natural and man-made environment
