Elegance petroleum: the metamorphosis of the Pitkovice apartment

The restyling transforms the apartment of a young client into a sophisticated, bright, and functional retreat, where refined materials, minimal details, and a petrol palette redefine contemporary living.

A young, fresh, and perfectly coherent concept

Formafatal Studio rethinks the dwelling by interpreting Kateřina's desires: a welcoming, modern, and harmonized space. The project focuses on a new material vision made of natural wood, modern concrete, and petrol nuances, creating a refined balance between warmth and minimalism. The intervention aims to optimize every area, transforming the apartment into a coherent and fluid environment, in line with the finest interior design projects dedicated to daily comfort.

Natural light and atmospheres that open up space

The living area becomes a bright domestic oasis thanks to the large French windows, shielded by light curtains that diffuse a soft light and amplify the feeling of airiness. The use of walls with an epoxy coating shaded from gray to petrol visually connects the kitchen, living area, and bathroom, providing chromatic continuity. The light palette enhances the surfaces and highlights the dialogue between materials, while dark details add the necessary contrast to define elegance and visual rhythm.

A kitchen-sculpture and invisible functional solutions

The kitchen, faithful to the original layout, is reinterpreted with a new functional essence. The large marble-effect island dominates the space like a sculptural element, supported by a mirrored structure that seems to disappear from view, allowing the volume to float. The storage spaces have been strategically redesigned: spacious yet discreet, completely integrated to not interrupt the perception of the environment. A choice that translates aesthetics and practicality into impeccable balance.

Library, greenery, and a bathroom that opens up to the house

To respond to the young owner's passion for reading, an elegant library and a comfortable reading nook have been designed, accompanied by a pervasive presence of greenery. The bathroom has been modernized with essential materials and formal choices that expand the space, such as the new glass wall that replaces the existing wall, visually connecting the entrance and wellness area. The effect of continuity creates an immediate perception of spaciousness and lightness.
