A contemporary reinterpretation that awakens the urban fabric
Located in the Roma neighborhood in Mexico City, Casa Sofia comes back to life after more than ten years of disuse. The house renovation, according to the project by AMASA Estudio, allows it to be returned to the neighborhood with a contemporary reinterpretation that awakens the urban fabric in which it is immersed. Before the years of abandonment, Casa Sofia was occupied by offices; the architectural intervention included the creation of an apartment on the ground floor, also usable for commercial purposes, and a two-level residence on the upper floors characterized by spacious surfaces and original spaces
