The new Salmon House rental home, with salmon-pink plaster and deep green details, was designed by English studio Office S&M, which makes effective use of the corner plot in which it stands, in the London suburb of Newham
The external colours, pink and green are complementary and are slightly separated to create a feeling of increased volume: the pink parts move forward, the green parts step backwards. Each space features natural light and two-directional views, generating multiple perspectives within each room
Although the project was designed as a three-bedroom, three-bathroom rental property, the house is conceived as a single home, so that tenants can feel like owners of the whole house or that it can be made available to an entire family
