Vigolungo Showroom & Offices Channel: technological innovation and sustainable architecture

Canale Vigolungo Showroom & Offices is a highly technological building, made of prefabricated elements in poplar plywood, which provides a comfortable indoor environment thanks to the use of wood in all the building components.

PoplyHouse constructive joint project

The studio Lorena Alessio Architetti has developed the new PoplyHouse constructive joint, destined to revolutionize dry constructions. This joint has been adopted for the construction of the Canale Vigolungo Showroom, a 160sqm building that houses an exhibition space and the offices of the company E. Vigolungo S.p.A.

Connection with the outside and internal design

The project allows for a strong connection with the external environment through views of the surrounding green areas and hills. A "library-wall" divides the showroom from the offices, maintaining a visual continuity of materials and geometries. The use of orange-colored poplar plywood characterizes the kitchenette and the bathroom.
