The project consists of three monolithic volumes, following the original structure of the complex before its reconstruction

The open and transparent design of Hotel Schgaguler attracts guests and invites visitors to connect with the picturesque village of Castelrotto, in Trentino-South Tyrol, and its surrounding mountains
Respecting the local context and its environment, the hotel's strong architectural identity follows a contemporary reinterpretation of the Alpine style, playing with vernacular elements such as the typical sloping roof
The façade changes depending on orientation: in the north/east, where corridors and public spaces are located, the structure is shallower, while in the south façade, the signature exoskeleton is deeper, creating loggias with naturalness
The bright gray color of the facade is inspired by the rocks of the surrounding mountains. Tradition and culture are key elements in the hotel's design: simple and functional interiors are combined with open layouts with local materials, such as chestnut wood or local stones
On the ground floor are the public spaces, such as the lobby, bar, and restaurant, connected with a large, sunny terrace. In the basement are the wellness and spa facilities, while all rooms and suites are on the upper levels, featuring a timeless design that evokes a cozy ambiance
