Charming hospitality: the new suites at Faloria Mountain Spa Resort

The six new suites at Faloria Mountain Spa Resort, a 5-star hotel in Cortina d'Ampezzo in the exclusive heart of the Dolomites, are inaugurated at the opening of the winter season 2023. Offering privacy and elegance, thanks to the design that exudes a sense of understated luxury, they represent a new model of high-level mountain accommodation

Design as extreme attention to detail

The six new suites at Faloria are designed by Flaviano Capriotti Architetti, the Milan-based studio that had already carried out the hotel's expansion in 2019. With an aesthetic language in continuity with the initial intervention, in the five Tofane Suites and in the newly built Penthouse Suite, the studio brings a design characterized by extreme attention to detail and a sense of understated, elegant, and discreet luxury in harmony with the mountainous setting, akin to the best high-altitude interior design projects

Brushed larch and mountain flowers

The studio reinterprets traditional materials of local architecture in a contemporary way, creating environments rich in details that welcome the guest without overwhelming them, embracing them with warm tones and a delicate domestic flavor. Familiar elements such as parquet flooring, larch wood paneling, and bed headboards upholstered and decorated with local flower designs, blend with dolomite stone and tiles in the colors of mountain lakes

The Tofane Suites

Three out of the five Tofane Suites are spread over two levels, offering breathtaking views of the Dolomites. Characterized by flexibility and interconnection of spaces, as well as historic restored larch wood ceilings and paneling, these suites consist of a large living area with sofas and dining area, and two double bedrooms with walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms. Being interconnected, the suites can be combined to offer a unit of over 250 square meters

The Penthouse Suite

In the central body of the hotel, the Penthouse Suite overlooks the historic 1956 Olympic ski jump. Double-height ceilings and a contemporary style characterized by walls and ceilings in larch wood, padded linen paneling, and wool cloth curtains in the brand's color, Faloria blue, welcome guests in the understated luxury typical of the Ampezzo resort. The Penthouse's furnishings consist of pieces designed by architect Capriotti alternating with iconic pieces of Italian design. Drawing inspiration from the Austriache Flore atlas, the studio uses 10 typical flowers in the decorative prints on the upholstery
