Plasters, paints and adhesives

Plasters, paints and adhesives are used in a variety of situations to perform different functions. These are elements that are fundamental in the process of finishing the premises.

Plasters are materials consisting mainly of lime or cement, which are applied to walls and buildings. They can be used as a protective layer or as a decorative coating.

Paints mainly serve to protect the surface of walls and buildings from bad weather and to give them a nice look. They usually come in a large variety of colors and shades, and some may even contain anti-mold additives or dyes.

Adhesives are adhesive materials used to attach two objects together: they can be made with many types of resins, acrylics, polymers, etc. Essentially, the bonding materials serve to make two elements adhere together while maintaining their holding force over time. In recent years we have witnessed the evolution of the technology for the production of plasters, paints and adhesives which has allowed the use of products with a greater degree of resistance to mechanical abrasion, water, low temperatures or aggressive chemical agents.

Furthermore, increasingly advanced technologies have allowed the development of water-based products with greater ease of application than those traditionally used solvent-based; this is a very advantageous solution because it allows rapid positioning of the final layer without possibly corroding the supports on which the product is applied.

In addition to the technical components that these elements possess, they also have very important aesthetic characteristics: they can be used to embellish interior spaces thanks to the countless decorative methods they offer and propose.
