"A New Now" post Covid. Art and imagination daily stimulus for our well-being

Artist Morag Myerscough's communicative joy encourages the construction of an "after" the Covid crisis, stimulating the imagination through a colourful work that rises 8 metres high, in a poetic and popular way

The installation "A New Now", winner of the "Beautify Paris" competition, was in the French capital from October to January 2021. The aim of the competition was to encourage initiatives to beautify small public spaces with works of art

The project was erected on a large pedestal in an abandoned square in the heart of the city, next to the Pompidou Centre and Saint-Merry, a 16th century church called 'Petite Notre-Dame'
