As always, Delvaux selected an exceptional setting: a fascinating historic building just a few steps from the Jardin des Tuileries and the elegant Place Vendôme. Once again, the shop was made unique by the design of Vudafieri-Saverino Partners, who have also designed the brand's stores around the world
Boutique in the centre of Paris. An eclectic and luxurious style to express the history of the brand
The Milan-based studio Vudafieri-Saverino Partners designed the new Maison Delvaux space, seeking chromatic and formal balances between luxury and material as well as emotion and decoration. The shop located in Rue Saint Honoré expresses the famous history of the brand in its design
Covering 100 square metres, the interior of the Rue Saint Honoré boutique reflects the building's heritage. The visual and material theme that guides the eye is the use of a series of antique doors, which decorate the walls and provide a backdrop for the display of products. Rare antiques varying in terms of age and decoration, but all belonging to a French style, tell the story of the brand
Inside the shop, furnishings designed by Vudafieri-Saverino Partners alternate with a selection of design pieces and antiques that together make up an eclectic style: a fabric of subtle formal balances. These include a majestic antique table made of grey Sant'Anna marble, featuring a white floral motif, while an exceptional 18th-century gilded ceremonial cabinet dominates the centre of the boutique
In this project too, Tiziano Vudafieri and Claudio Saverino worked on the chromatic and tactile quality of the wall finishes by using special plaster and stucco - the work of Italian artist Filippo Falaguasta - to create warm tones in harmony with the wood panelling
Industrial-style pendant lamps cast an enthralling glow over the top, while behind it stands a full-height bookcase housing the Maison's accessories. The homage to Paris and France, as well as the highly original use of antique doors can be seen in the selection of materials used in the boutique: for the floors and the bookshelf
