A mobile mechanized installation is the focus of the space designed by Sò Studio for JNBY-owned sportswear brand Peu à Peu in Hangzhou, China

The Peu à Peu showroom has an aesthetic that playfully blends the sporty dynamics of interaction and movement with the inspiration derived from artist Jeff Koons' iconic Balloon series. The premises are defined by a complex installation of steel pulleys and racks on which a series of large metal spheres move and slide thanks to a robotic mechanical system

The structure incorporates the mobile shelving units that divide the space and allow the brand's garments to be displayed in this particular setting. The background, deliberately left simple and bare, with plastered walls and cement floors, is treated as "the white space in the painting". To counterbalance the austerity, Sò Studio uses foam tubes decoratively tied to the columns or grouped together

Metal finishes, reflective spheres and metal displays evoke the sporty aspect of the Peu à Peu brand in a futuristic environment, while transforming the display structures of fitness equipment, and creating a stimulating, symbolic and dynamic impact
