Sò Studio creates a space that is attentive to beauty: an atmosphere in harmony with oriental design in the Lunar restaurant, located in a detached villa in the heart of Shanghai. The restaurant pays homage to the Chinese calendar of the same name, whose customs are essential to the culinary experience that embraces the seasons

The light in the restaurant is subdued, conveying a sense of comfort combined with the scent of tea. Climbing the stairs, a cobblestone path leads to Lunar's second floor. A unique hanging frame blends into the architectural structure of the space, leading to the dining area and a private lounge

The collaboration with florist and designer Maggie Mao adds an orange hue to the space: the small, delicate decoration adds a touch of zen in simplicity. The most important material throughout the space is the matt surface which, without over-reflecting, conveys calm and beauty through texture and touch
