Metanoia was born from the imperative to slow down our lives, connect with the universe and return to search for something superior to us, an energy that surrounds us and the most powerful of all, LOVE. Metanoia is a temple for the body but also for the soul and a new refuge to dive, dream and relax deeply. A corner of pleasure where everything is soft, delicate and silent
The large central tub sculptures and sinks emerge froms pace as large organic volumes with quartz encrustations that transport us to a real cave and make us connect with our ancestors. The dressing table represents a mirage, a hole through which we can look into utopia and understand what a more peaceful world would be like where we could hear the stream, the waves of the sea, the wind cares sing the leaves
The contrasts generated between the materials represent our internal contradictions and conflicts. And like in them we can find the beauty of life. A staircase gives us access to the shower guardedby a prism of degraded glass that functions as a bulkhead while resembling theremoteness of the utopian horizon we dream of
The entire space is covered in an immaculate white cloak that transports us to a cave. The adaptable, sustainable and acoustic floor material as well as the leather lining that houses the room transform metanoia into a balm for our fast-paced minds in need of calm. The cave-like form is accentuated by the organic shapes of the entrance and the windows and ceiling volumes create the feeling of a natural cave in which we discover the roof of a chapel
The "fantastic chair" takes us to that world with its hergonomic yet surrealistic feel, giving a touch of science fiction to the whole space, just like the "dreamland" chaise longue. The promised dream turns out to be closer than ever reclining in her. The two standing lamps and the table lamps called "magnetic" connect us to the space, light us towards it and unmask us thanks to their iridescent circles and take us beyond the real utopia we dream of
Psychedelic and futuristic are the pieces of this temple as opposed to the nature and ther awness of the rest of the composition that gives us these games and contrasts that we must shape to represent the complexity of this world, the paradoxes that we face every day and how even if were turn to our roots we must always look to the future with illusions and large doses of imagination
