New corporate headquarters in Barcelona. The beach inspires the design of the workspaces
The Swedish company Effective Communication entrusts the design of its Spanish headquarters to the El equipo creativo studio: the design of the workspaces evokes the characteristics of a beach, with a fresh and carefree atmosphere
The space had to at the same time speak of the city of Barcelona, full of color and cheerfulness. The offices are located in the Poble Nou district, an old industrial area where a new technological-artistic district of the city has emerged, close to the coast
The main space of the call-center is a large room that requires very thorough acoustics, due to the work that is being carried out there, which is why the designers chose to use acoustic insulation panels as the main design element, with a ceiling that simulates beach towels, with intense colors and nautical lines
The carpeted floor simulates sea water, generating light waves and unevenness, with a dense texture and different shades of blue. The kitchen is directly connected with the terrace and is the space most dedicated to socializing. The design of both spaces responds to the more playful and sporty beach style aesthetic
The main goal of the project is for the person visiting the place to feel inspired in a positive way. The company's staff would become the protagonists of the space and the design seeks to generate a rewarding, positive, and somehow even fun work experience
