The Swedish company Effective Communication entrusts the design of its Spanish headquarters to the studio El equipo creativo: the design of the workspaces recalls the characteristics of a beach, with a fresh and carefree atmosphere.
A design capable of inspiring such a carefree atmosphere is a strong part of the company's strategy, which encourages its team to have a positive attitude and, in general, aims to lighten the hours of hard work in a call center, offering space to rest, socialize, and have fun.
The space designed by El equipo creativo had to simultaneously speak about the city of Barcelona, full of color and joy. The offices are located in the Poble Nou neighborhood, an old industrial area where a new technological-artistic district of the city has emerged, near the coastline.
The main space of the call center is a large room that requires very careful acoustics for the work carried out there, and that is why the designers choose to use acoustic isolation panels as the main design element, a ceiling that simulates beach towels, with intense colors and nautical lines. This technical device is often found in interior design projects.
The carpeted floor simulates the sea water, generating luminous waves and variations in height, with a dense texture and different shades of blue. The kitchen is directly connected to the terrace, and is the space most dedicated to socializing. The design of both spaces reflects a playful and sporty beach aesthetic.
The main goal of the project is for the person visiting the place to feel positively inspired. The company's staff becomes the protagonist of the space, and the design aims to create a rewarding, positive, and somewhat fun working experience.
