Wheeler Kearns Architects studio has designed an entire double-height floor in a skyscraper in the city of Chicago. The brief of the owners was to enjoy a space full of comfort and simple elegance
The project was an intense collaboration between the architects and the clients. Among the most decisive design decisions were the choice of walnut flooring, the inclusion of artwork in the perimeter walls, the use of perforated metal or fabric to ensure sound absorption, and the use of a large number of different materials for the interior design
