Wonder Galaxy for Casa Decor. A futuristic and playful installation that evokes childhood dreams

The answer is colour, as a keyelement in releasing our childhood energy. We start with pink, a colour that for the designer, Patricia Bustos has an important meaning which conveys a bit of magic and knows how to transform something serious into a playful one, modernising the most classic piece and freshening up the most sombre and boring environment

#Wondergalaxy is a colourful dressing room, a three-dimensional reality that reminds us of an Austin Powers film in which we are the protagonists. Thearches and asymmetrical volumes of the room give us a feeling of infinite depth that expands the space with perfect balance. The gradient colours suggest a myriad of parallel and utopian realities where we could live if we wanted to. The fantasy colours and soap bubbles mix with unusual and iridescent materials

All the furniture and accessories have been specially designed for this project, such as the BUBBLE GUM' Sofa inspired by a massive bubblegum with its chic, feminine and playful curves. The sinks in the SPACE SHIP are made of Hisbalit brand glass and pink alabaster, the taps are made of polished brass and have a minimalist design

The lighting is another key part, the light is constantly changing, so visitors can enjoy the 360 degree experience and genuinely feel as if they are in another galaxy. The ceiling light emulates bubbles floating in space, soap bubbles conveying lightness and a sense of magical ong with the bubbles on the bathtub

A great deal of care was also taken with the illustrations. The illustrator Paul Fuentes is an inspiration to Patricia Bustos Studio for his irony and optimism. They chose to use his illustrations called `THUNDER FACE' with model Ronja Okane playing a 21st century superheroine who faces her future with determination and courage

The tiger on the other hand is a humorous element that has been used in a video and illustrations in this space with the aim of de-contextualising and taking the viewer out of context. A tiger wearing a diving suit in all this madness once again provides the playful touch that the designer wanted to convey
