Our story in a few steps

From ristrutturareonweb.com to our thematic portals

In 2013, Architect R. Fabio Sciacca founded the first Italian portal specialized in building renovation and restoration: ristrutturareonweb.com.
Over the following years, this was joined by other thematic portals: legnonweb.com, focused on timber structures, and designonweb.it, dedicated to interior and outdoor design.
As new technologies rapidly evolved, webinars began to emerge on the market. The winning intuition was the understanding that this would become the future of professional training.

The launch of Formazioneonweb: a new era in professional training

In 2015, the network of thematic portals dedicated to the world of architecture and design was completed with the launch of formazioneonweb—a platform specifically focused on online training and professional development for designers.
It was the first channel entirely dedicated to webinars in construction, architecture, and design, featuring a specialized format to stay up to date on the know-how and latest offerings from companies and industry professionals.

National Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits for Italian architects, engineers, surveyors, and technical professionals

Since 2017, the intensive training activity has enabled Nextonweb SLU to become a third-party organization officially recognized by the CNAPPC (National Council of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects, and Conservators) for the issuance of Professional CPD credits, and by the Ministry of Justice. Recognition was later extended by the National Councils of Engineers, Surveyors, and Technical Experts.

Thanks to webinars, online training has become increasingly known to the general public. A steadily evolving and enriched format has allowed us to achieve significant milestones—not only in terms of audience numbers, but also in the quality and depth of the topics explored in collaboration with our technical partners.

The Rebranding of Our Portals: From Arkitectureonweb to Elearningonweb

At the beginning of 2018, through a rebranding process, the thematic portals were restructured and reorganized into two main platforms:
arkitectureonweb.com – focused on publishing content for the world of architecture, and
elearningonweb.com – specialized in online training for Italian design professionals.

Launch of On-Demand Services and Team Expansion

To meet the needs of all design professionals, the on-demand webinar service was launched, offering flexible access to training content.
At the same time, the team expanded and, through in-depth SEO and positioning research, the arkitectureonweb portal was redesigned and optimized
