19th century residence transformed into a shop

A historical nineteenth-century residence has been transformed. A space midway between the concept store and art gallery

An eclectic reinterpretation by the Vudalfieri-Saverino Partners studio which revolutionizes the luxury retail sector by designing a store for Delvaux, the oldest Belgian luxury leather goods company in the world

Delvaux opens a new space in the heart of Brussels, called "Le 27", located in a majestic villa on the Boulevard de Waterloo. It is a unique environment that is much more than a boutique: in fact, in addition to showcasing the leather goods collections, the residence also displays major pieces of Belgian design, paintings and ceramics to create a constantly evolving art gallery

The concept for the space is completely new and custom-made, with a central role entrusted to the historical Belgian memory that is complemented by contemporary trends. The structure of the space is original and spread over two floors, with the walls embellished with 19th century moldings, mirrors, medallions and frescoes. The great height of the inter-floor ensures great spaciousness and luminosity

The materials that characterize the environments are marble, wood and wrought iron. The historical interiors are reinterpreted through a contemporary style, rich in refined and cultured references. The rooms are portrayed as a reinterpretation and celebration of the first period of modern design which was very important in the Belgian culture of the 20th century
