Château St. Gerlach is an estate near Maastricht, a unique complex with a luxury hotel, a restaurant and a wellness area. The pavilion was designed by Mecanoo architects and complements the historic buildings on the site

One of the main materials chosen for the pavilion is glass: the architecture will be above all transparent and avant-garde, also thanks to the cantilevered and curved roof. Other materials used are inspired by the surrounding nature: marl, blue stone and oak

The view from the pavilion will be of the castle, the hills and the farm. The three large interior rooms, used for meetings or other functions can be used separately or combined, offering a unique location for events

In addition to the new building, work has also been carried out on the farmhouse, a national monument dating to 1668, which has been refurbished to accommodate small meeting rooms and a small bar, where it is possible to have lunch or coffee
