In pursuit of this goal, DG Arquitecto Valencia studio, supported by the ancient shape of the home (the wooden beams, the façade and the original window and door frames) sets out to design the project starting with the characteristic courtyard, towards which it directs the main living spaces to underline their importance, and divides them into three functional areas which are then extended into the interiors

The courtyard typical of twentieth-century homes in the Huerta Valenciana area becomes the protagonist of the entire architectural project: the " renovation" of a village house with the aim of creating a more open, functional layout while preserving its traditional character
A first area in which the swimming pool is installed is directly connected to the main bedroom and dressing room; a second garden area which turns into the living and dining room towards the inside of the home; and finally a laundry and barbecue area which extends inwards to become the kitchen area
The interior spaces are large and bright with clean volumes enlivened by the existing wooden elements. The tradition emanating from the façade emerges to contrast with the interior and the courtyard with its contemporary atmosphere
