The bleached wooden floor, the roof panelling treated with light grey and ochre glazing and the white walls create a box that acts as a passepartout where both the custom-designed furniture and the industrial furnishings stand out

The centre of the house is a large open space where the living area and the kitchen overlooking the dining area are located. The kitchen, as well as all the customized furnishings are designed as a functional and plastic block that blends in with the context. Each fixed furniture, matt white lacquered, has been handcrafted by the carpenter according to a specific project and set into the architectural volumes, following the slopes of the roof. A few pastel shades break up the general tone of the environment

In the bathroom, a mosaic with small hexagonal tesserae in antique pink was chosen for the floor, a redesigning of the old wall coverings of the villa and wall stuccoes in grey-blue; in the bedroom, a wall was laid in brickwork face to face, only shading the colour with slight veiling of white, as a trace of the original artefact
