Tailored furnishings and inspiring living spaces in GN Apartment. Metamorphosis of an attic in the heart of Turin

It is the Turin-based studio BRH+ that designs and directs, on a private commission, all the renovation works of GN Apartment. The interior design equips the dwelling with a series of fixed furnishings custom-designed with sartorial precision, which make the most of the available space and solve the lack of additional ancillary or appurtenant spaces of the property. These furniture solutions allow individual rooms to be "opened" or "closed" via sliding partitions, allowing greater flexibility in terms of privacy

The living area of the GN Apartment consists of the living area and the kitchen, this one entirely made to design: the top with integrated sink is made of Carrara marble, characterized by a macroscopic vein running all along the top; the doors are made of ultramarine blue-stained ash wood, while a sliding door covered in fabric-effect Day and Night Twill veneer from the Alpi brand, designed by Matteo Ragni, hides the refrigerator

The table is illuminated by OliveLab's L02 hanging lamp, and a circular light well was also created in the ceiling to increase natural lighting. A second sliding door gives access to the small laundry room and a service bathroom entirely clad in resin with an immersive textural effect

From the hallway created through partitions consisting of fixed furnishings useful for creating precious container-volumes, access is gained to the master bathroom and the two bedrooms: in the former, Birds N Bees wallpaper by Timorous Beasties gives the space a playful note, emphasized by the presence of the Lita blown-glass spherical wall sconces by Luceplan. The perimeter of both bedrooms consists of full-height lacquered wood closets made according to an ad hoc design that goes into the smallest detail, down to the conception of the handle
