The appeal of the ancient world shines through. Corporate headquarters in Stockholm

The project originates from the rapidly expanding Octapharmas company, which needs to be expanded to include office space, scientific laboratories and the factory with production space in its western headquarters in Kungsholmen

The former brewery together with its surrounding facilities was purchased in 2009 by a real estate agency for Octapharma as the company sought to improve the logistics of the site

The building built in the early 1890s, a brewery that peaked over a period of 15 years but soon faced economic difficulties and bankruptcy. The building was then used in various ways, slowly declining into ruins due to negligence. It has recently been protected for its historical and cultural importance and is currently a historic building

The original construction is mixed, mostly made of wood, which makes it unsuitable for the production of medicines and medications. Octapharma decides to transform the building for administrative purposes, to move its Nordic headquarters. In addition to offices, the renovated building now houses facilities such as meeting rooms, conference rooms, changing rooms, storage and a large canteen

The facade underwent a complete renovation, evaluating each brick, with a high level of precision. Throughout the process, the project was gradually adapted and developed with understanding and knowledge of the buildings of cultural importance. With the former brewery being renovated and used, the building has regained its former glory
