Located on Juan de Salinas road in Loja,Ecuador, FB +'s studio is an architecture, design and construction office whose fundamental objective is to develop multidisciplinary projects that allow the creation of spaces in which the users' sensations are intensified. The spaces created by FB + dialogue with the environment and consistently respond to the needs generated by the project

FB+'s new studio, which was designed by themselves, is designed in a pre-existing building within a 250sqm family lot; the plot has a north-south orientation and the low building dedicated to the new studio is protected from direct sunlight and occupies 20sqm in the front corner of the lot. This area has been transformed from commercial space into FB+'s office using the same existing masonry and toilets

FB+'s office wants to interact with the city, offering it a neutral space for pause and observation, creating a place that transforms from a void by day into a point of light by night, taking advantage of its materiality. The mural painted by architect Carlos Valarezo integrates the studio with the city, conceptualizing formal, integral and philosophical research in architecture and reflecting the chaos that invades cities today along with the search for solutions that architetti di FB+ themselves propose through their work

The entrance features the translucent polycarbonate sliding doors, beyond which, for security, is a folding door from OSD. The soft, warm lighting blends with the white walls, and the furniture designed by Innovar meets the need in terms of functionality by allowing vegetation to be present and in harmony with the different elements that are part of the space
