For the accommodation of the new Adega da Quinta da Faisca, a concrete slab is created, connected to the ground and then supported by metal beams, above which four small apartments are erected by Didoné Comacchio Architects
A jump into the landscape made of vineyards, olive trees and almond trees
We are suspended in the landscape: having completed the renovation of the Adega da Quinta da Faisca, the need for visitor accommodation arises, rising above the vineyards, the existing houses and the winery itself
We are suspended in the landscape. Everything is made of wood: the wall structures blend with the ceilings, the window and door frames, the exterior cladding. The roof and flashings are zinc and everything is made with care and great professionalism. Rigor demanded and understood
The four apartments can be interconnected, to create different configurations and organizations, versatility in occupancy and use. Above the bathroom and kitchenette, a mezzanine opens to the living room and outdoors. Outside, pathways are made of washed concrete and the garden, slate and native trees
There is a water tank in the area where guests can refresh themselves, which reuses beautiful old granite stones. Also four small beaches, that allow you to enjoy the outdoors. To the east, on a terrace overlooking the landscape, the ten-meter-long wooden table sheltered by a vine is a place to relax and take it all in
