Gable facade for a log cabin. Woodland green site near a nature reserve

On the outskirts of Boekel, in a woodland area near a pond and the Perekker nature reserve, the Dutch architectural studio Denkkamer designed a house that resembles a barn or log cabin in terms of form and materials

The client wished to build a cabin with an elongated volume, parallel to the lateral boundary of the lot, making the house focus entirely on the south side and thus on the green and woodland area

The house occupies an angular position and since it is the last house on the street, it plays a key role in the outline of the street. The house consists of two interlocking volumes, one of which is the main one and has a gable facade
